Comprehensive Plan

Notice: It has been brought to the attention of the City of Weston that certain individuals are approaching property owners and telling them that they are contracted by the city to enter the properties and remove items and belongings from the buildings. Be It Known, these individuals are not contracted by, nor are they employees of, nor do they represent the city in any way. If you are approached or contacted by these individuals, please call 911 and report them immediately.

The City of Weston Comprehensive Plan was finalized and completed by the Weston Planning Commission in September of 2014. This plan was completed in conjunction with technical assistance provided by the WVU Law Clinic. The plan provides guidance to Council and the community on priorities for the City's furtherance and physical growth. A comprehensive plan is also required before enacting a zoning ordinance.

This plan is required to be updated at least once every ten years by the Planning Commission. The next update is in the initial stages and will look be completed by late 2023. A link to the plan can be found below:
